The Capy OG Low Back Chair weighs 1.18 kg (2.6 lb). That is roughly a third of the weight of a standard folding camp chair, which typically runs 2.7 kg to 3.7 kg, so it is easy to throw in a bag.
It holds up to 120 kg (270 lb). The reinforced Tri-Lock triangle base keeps it stable on grass, dirt, gravel and uneven ground.
No. Dedicated ultralight backpacking chairs such as the Helinox Chair Zero L (650 g) and the REI Co-op Flexlite Air (454 g) are lighter, and cost considerably more. At 1.18 kg the Capy OG Low Back is far lighter than a normal camp chair while holding 120 kg, and it costs a fraction of a premium ultralight chair.
Yes. It has a low-back profile, so it supports your lower and mid back rather than your shoulders and neck. It sits lower and packs smaller than the Capy High Back, which suits fishing, beach days and moving around camp. If you want upper-back and neck support, the Capy High Back Chair has a tall backrest and a detachable pillow.
The frame is 7075 aluminium tube with a Tri-Lock base. The seat fabric is made from recycled PET bottles.
Set up it measures 20.5" x 23.6" x 28.3", with a 39 cm (15.3") seat height. It packs down into its own carry bag for transport and storage.
Open it and sit down in seconds. There are no poles to assemble or fight with.
Orders ship in 1 to 2 days. Returns are free for 30 days, no fuss. The chair packs into its own carry bag for the trip home.
